The Big Red Grocery Giveaway (the "Game") is offered by The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc. ("Game Sponsor") and is administered by WSP International Limited ("Administrator").

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY. Making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

General Game Information: The Game is sponsored and being played at approximately 241 stores owned and operated by the Game Sponsor. The banners participating are A&P, Food Emporium (Westchester and Connecticut only), Superfresh and Waldbaum’s locations (“Participating Store(s)”) in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. Only The Big Red Grocery Giveaway Game tickets with Series #BR150 printed on the Game ticket are valid for this Game. Obtain a free Collector Card (required to play the Collect to Win portion of the Game as described below) at any Participating Store during the Game Period (See Rule 1 below), while supplies last, or print off a Collector Card online at www.bigredgiveaway.com. Obtain a Game ticket from any cashier or authorized personnel every time you make a purchase, present and swipe your A&P Bonus Savings Club Card, Food Emporium Club Card, Superfresh Clubfresh Card or Waldbaum’s Valued Shopper Club Card (“collectively “Club Cards”) at a respective Participating Store during the Game Period while supplies last. Obtain up to two (2) bonus game tickets when you purchase one of the two advertised featured products of the week. Limit three (3) game tickets with each qualifying purchase transaction per twenty-four (24) hour period, regardless of the number of items included in the transaction. Purchase of Pharmacy prescription items, Alcoholic Beverages, Cigarettes, Tobacco products, Milk (NY only), Gift Cards and Certificates, Money Orders or Money Transfers, Postage Stamps, Tokens, Transit Passes, Lottery Tickets, and any other items that are legally prohibited by the state where the transaction occurs alone DOES NOT qualify you to receive a Game ticket. You can obtain a No Purchase Game ticket via mail by sending a self addressed envelope together with your Name, Address, State, Zip Code, Phone Number, Email Address and Club Card number, clearly printed or typed on a 3” x 5” card or piece of paper to: Game Master, The Big Red Grocery Giveaway, c/o WSP International Limited, 511 Sixth Avenue, #619, New York, NY 10011. Requests must be postmarked on or before June 22, 2009 and received on or before June 29, 2009 (after June 23, 2009 No Purchase Game tickets will be available from Customer Service at Participating Stores). Limit three (3) Game tickets per request, per day; one request per outer mailing envelope. No mechanically reproduced or computer-generated requests allowed. 1. GAME DATES: The Game begins on May 15, 2009 at 12:00:01 AM EDT (the "Game Start Date") and is scheduled to end on July 11, 2009 at 11:59:59 PM EDT (the "Scheduled Game End Date") or whenever Game ticket supplies are exhausted, whichever occurs first. The period between the Game Start Date and the scheduled Game End Date is known as the "Game Period." Certain components of the Game will end on different dates, as indicated elsewhere in these Official Rules.

2. WHO CAN PLAY: The Game is open to all legal residents of the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia who maintain a residence in any of the foregoing jurisdictions and have reached the age of majority, as of the Game Start Date. Employees of Game Sponsor’s Participating Stores, head office and branch offices, distribution centers, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, administrators, advertising and promotion agencies, agents,
any entity that Game Sponsor contracts with specific to this Game and their immediate household members are not eligible to play and win prizes in the Game.

3. HOW TO PLAY: There are four ways to play: (A) Instant Win Prizes and Instant $1.00 Discounts, (B) Collect to Win, (C) Enter to Win, and (D) Online Win. Carefully tear open your Game ticket along the perforation to find two (2) stickers inside that are used to play the Collect To Win portion of the Game, and to reveal an Instant Win Prize or Instant $1.00 Discount message or an official Ballot Entry Form that is used to enter the Enter to Win or an Online PIN used to enter the Online Win.
